Could silica-rich rainforest water aid detoxification from toxic metal overload?
Most of us who are interested in healthcare cannot fail to have seen the recent stories in the press linking toxic-metals to neuro-developmental conditions. Here at Ozone Therapy UK, we wanted to find out more, so asked Rex Garratt of Silicawaters.com to explain more about his interest in this area of detoxification, and also why he believes that silica-rich rainforest water could aid individuals suffering from conditions such as Alzheimer’s.
“Silica-rich water can remove ‘neurotoxic aluminium’ from the human body…”
“The not-for-profit social enterprise ‘Silicawaters.com’ launched eighteen months ago, retailing ‘Acilis’ by Spritzer– a silica-rich rainforest water with unique functional properties for good health,” Mr. Garrett tells us. “We’re an organisation aimed at providing health-giving bottled water at an affordable price to families who need it. I started to find out about the benefits of detoxification from toxic metals when I learned about the work of Professor Christopher Exley, of Keele University, who is a world authority on the connection between silica and aluminium. He proposes that silica-rich water can remove ‘neurotoxic aluminium’ from the human body,” Mr. Garrett explains.
“He convinced me there was a need to make Acilis available in the UK, for consumers to follow his advice that drinking one litre a day of Acilis will help remove the toxicity of aluminium from the body. This is a simple, inexpensive, and non-invasive way to improve health for ourselves and our families,” Mr. Garrett continues.
How do toxic metal compounds enter the human body?
Many of us, while aware of the recent interest in heavy metals and their absorption into our bodies, may be asking the question – how do these heavy metal compounds enter the body in the first place? Dr Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD has written about the subject in his paper, ‘A Comprehensive Review of Heavy Metal Detoxification and Clinical Pearls from 30 Years of Medical Practice.’
Dr Klinghardt explains that heavy metals appear in the mammalian system because they have become part of our environment, and are absorbed via our skin and mucosal surfaces.
“Heavy metals are primarily neurotoxins. There is a synergistic effect between all neurotoxins, which is responsible for the ‘illness producing effect’,” he explains.
The healthy human body is constantly trying to eliminate neurotoxins via the available exit routes: the liver, kidney, skin and exhaled air, Dr Klinghardt maintains. “Most elimination products are expelled with the bile into the small intestine, and should leave the body via the digestive tract. However, most are actually reabsorbed by nerve endings in the intestinal wall; from there, the neurotoxins may travel via the spinal cord to the brain; via venous uptake to the liver; via lymphatic uptake to the subclavian vein (which joins with the jugular); or via the intestinal tract.”
The most common toxic metals
The most common toxic metals are reportedly mercury, lead, cadmium, iron, manganese and aluminium, and sources include dental amalgam fillings, car fumes, cigarette smoke, paint residues, heavy metal residues in the earth and the food chain, drinking water and even (in the case of aluminium), cookware.
However, there are also said to be other risk factors for heavy metal toxicity, which can cause accumulation of metals in an otherwise healthy human body – they include genetics, prior illnesses, emotional trauma, poor diet, food allergies, the patient’s electromagnetic environment (mobile phone use etc), and constipation.
Could ozone steam saunas aid detoxification?
America’s Dr David Minkoff has written widely about the benefits of using an Ozone Steam Sauna to aid detoxification of toxins; something we would definitely concur with here at Ozone Therapy UK. He maintains that by eliminating toxins through sweat, the other excretory organs such as the liver, kidneys and intestine are bypassed. Dr Klinghardt agrees, stating that ozone saunas eliminate high levels of toxic metals, organic compounds, dioxin, and other toxins, combining the effects of hyperthermia and ozone therapy in a very safe and comfortable way.
Acilis by Spritzer
But a further way to aid health and remove ‘neurotoxic aluminium’ from the human body, particularly for anyone who does not have the mobility or financial resources for therapies, is to drink Acilis by Spritzer, which Rex Garrett advocates. This is pure silica-rich bottled water, naturally filtered through 400ft of rock and sandstone strata beneath protected rainforests in the Maxwell Hills of tropical Malaysia
Mr. Garrett tells us the silica in this water-based form is known as orthosilicic acid, or OSA. “Uniquely, this soluble silica is said to be able to cross into the blood stream to safely flush out aluminium contamination; therefore performing an all-natural and non-invasive removal of a neurotoxic metal increasingly found in many everyday products, from food and bakery to cosmetics, medications and vaccinations,” he states.
Drinking a litre of silica-rich water daily may help in the removal of aluminium from the body
According to Mr Garrett, ground breaking research led by the world-leading aluminium toxicology expert, Professor Christopher Exley at Keele University in Staffordshire, has shown that drinking a litre of silica-rich water daily significantly helps remove aluminium from the body; studies by Professor Exley have reportedly shown a definitive link between aluminium accumulation in the body, and neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s.
“Simply drinking silicon-rich water is a completely non-invasive way to remove aluminium from the body – and something which can potentially benefit everyone including people with diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease,” Professor Exley has stated. “In the case of Alzheimer’s, we found that drinking silicon-rich water over only 12 weeks produced significant improvements in cognitive function without any known or observed side effects.” (Read more at The Hippocratic Post.)
Mr Garret adds that Acilis by Spritzeris safe and non-invasive for people of all ages to drink; it has a silica content of 52.10mg/L, a perfectly balanced pH level of 7.10, and sold in PET and BPA-free bottles. Read more at the Silica Waters website.
